Default Funniest part in a TV serial?

What do you think is the funniest part/actor in any TV serial? Personally I love Arthur from King of Queens.I like the show, though I do think that itīs not the funniest ever shown on TV, but this guy Arthur is just awesome.

Any thoughts

Kramer on Seinfeld

Niles on Frazier

Jim Ignatowksi on Taxi

Latke Gravas on Taxi

Archie Bunker on All in the Family

Mork on Mork and Mindy

Lucy Ricardo on I Love Lucy

Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond

Monk on Monk

A little scary that two of my favorite characters were named Mork and Monk.

A little scary that you thought Mork was funny. I always preferred Jim to Latka, and George to Kramer(let the flames begin). Barney Miller and MASH were loaded with great characters too. Cliff Clavin on Cheers? How does anyone choose a favorite?

you have to seriously question the intelligence of any man who thinks kramer (even though he is ridiculously funny and good in the show) is a funnier character than george.

I thought Robin Williams was the funniest person I had ever seen the first time I saw him. Still do.

I agree about Robin Williams. Lately though, he seems to have lost his edge..

When he was young I always thought he was a little too fruity, kinda like Billy Crystal & Tom Hanks. He just annoyed me. I like him much better now, Hanks too. Crystal is still too fruity.

David Brent from "The Office" on BBC. It's on DVD and well worth renting. There are two seasons of six episodes each. Hilarious stuff (and I'm not usually a big British humor fan).
