[/ QUOTE ] wow, a 2+2 legend vs. a real legend with 9 bracelets, a player who has pulled off 2 final tables at the WSOP in a row, and one of the best female players ever. hmmm, let me think for a second. although, i agree, he isn't "world class". he is good, get over it. |

Just because someone is a pro or has written a book doesn't mean they aren't capable of being wrong. |

Re: lmao at Annie Duke
Affleck has won a 10K buy-in event. Has this so-called 2+2 legend won anything like that?
doubtful. Affleck may be new to the game, but he is obviously got a great handle on it. Just 'cause he's a movie star doesn't make him a bad poker player. You win the Cal. State Chapionship...you are playing with the big boys. Period. |

Re: lmao at Annie Duke
I'm not going to get into a "who is world class and who is not" discussion...I didn't say Affleck was world class yet, but he is certainly making strides towards greatness.
While I may or may not agree with Annie Duke's classification of Affleck as "World Class," I definitely take her thoughts and comments regarding poker to be closer to reality than anything anyone on here is likely to post... and that includes myself! |
