Dell 2001fp problem

I had been playing on my brand new fp for about 3 days, but today when I turned it on I got a "white screen." It's kind of like trying to watch a scrambled HBO show. I can make some things out and see my desktop icons (sort of), but it's worthless to use. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it or what the problem is? Of course Dell support is closed now so I can't get any help today from them.
