Default 85 in SB v. BB - steal?

This is the second or third hand of 50/100 blinds. I have played only one or two if any hands so far (card dead and steal opportunities limited). IMO BB will likely only call with strong hands - any pair, A with mid kicker or K with good kicker. Blind steal or wait for better cards?

Looks like I am about 35% against a typical calling hand:

I often push from the SB in a situation like this -- no cards or stealing opportunities and the blinds rising. It seems especially the first time you do this you will only be called by premium hands.

you'll get called by a lot of hands that aren't remotely premium (like a6o), but it's still profitable enough to push. if you wind up all in with a ~35% chance to win, that's not a disaster - it's probably what you eventually wind up with if you folded here.
