Sick fold
10-10-20 NL hand. Both players involved have stacks of between 2000 and 3000 and are experienced NL players.
There's some action pre-flop. The flop is 9Tx. I don't recall how much went in pre-flop and how much post-flop, but all the money is in before the turn. Pot is over $4000. Turn is a Queen. Player w/ QQ flips over his hand and opponent taps the felt. River is a King. Opponent mucks his hand. Then he takes another look at the board and suddenly realizes that his JJ (which he had shown his neighbor) just made a straight. Ugh. Next hand. |
