Default Silly QQ pot

One table thingummy on Stars, $20 + 2 buyin. It's early and we're still 9 handed. I have 1500ish, as do most. One player has a lot more, and one a lot less (205). The big stack won't be involved anyway.

Blinds 15-30. I get QQ in the big blind. UTG calls. UTG+1 calls. Big stack folds. UTG+3 makes it 120. Next calls. Small stack calls. Button calls. SB calls.

Does anybody not push in here, and why?

Guy.

I got to here and thought, all-in, so I guess not. If you get callers you might be in trouble, but more than likely you will pick up a modest pot (with only the small stack calling) and should be happy to do so.

The pot is already huge and would add significantly to your stack. The problem of course is what hands other than the big 3 will call your all-in bet. Although I have seen bad enough play in those tournies that people may figure you are stealing and will call with all sorts of ugly pairs.

Hopefully no one had AA or KK.

Good play,
Ken Poklitar
