Default Neural nets for handicapping

Anyone have any experience using neural nets for handicapping?

Powerful neural nets for MS XL such as BrainCel can be purchased pretty reasonably these days.

BrainCel is used mostly for stock/futures price data, but could easily be fed other data as well.

For those not in the know, a neural net (such as BrainCel) is an XL add in that could be fed data on teams and/or individual players, along with historical game outcomes, and then be "taught" to predict future outcomes.

Banks, for example, sometimes use then to determine lending risk for creditors.

TIA
