[/ QUOTE ] Not true In the old system, it would have been this- Rose Bowl USC-Penn State Fiesta Texas-Notre Dame Orange Florida State-West Virginia Sugar Georgia-Ohio State Oregon would still be at the holiday bowl. and #1 and #2 wouldn't be playing

And for all of the complaining last year, without the BCS, USC would have played in the Rose Bowl, Auburn would have played in the Sugar Bowl and Oklahoma would have played in the Orange Bowl.

The way it would have fallen last year would have been fine, because we'd then have 4 games that might mean something instead of one that does and 3 that are irrelevant exhibitions.
