When I said live games, I was reffering to online ring games, not B&M casino play. I stopped the B&M play a few years ago due to second hand smoke.

Sorry for using the wrong nomenclature.

Do you understand that it is not the number of games that determines significance -- it is the number of people?

If flipping coins was a game that was at least partly skill dependent, and you had a population of 1,000 flippers and asked them "how many of you lost your first flip, because I think this flipping thing is rigged," do you believe that your sample would be random and your results unbiased based on the likely respondents...? (Assuming responding was voluntary.)

I already said the data collection is not unbiased above (also 2+2 is not a random sample of internet poker players).

The coin flipping example was just that, an example to illustrate a principle, not a direct comparison to Sit & Go's.

I understand your point, but asking this group of people has way too many variables that are way too hard to quantify and attest for. How do you plan on arbitrarily skewing the responses back to the norm?

Ok ... I did statistics for clinical trials as my job for over 5 years.

It's pretty obvious why you're no longer in this position.

May I ask what motivation you feel Stars, or any other site, would have behind fixing a game? A poker site makes money from rake; rake comes from having players. If word ever got out that a site's game was rigged, players would never play there, PERIOD. It just seems to me that fixing a game as a site is a case of little to gain and everything to lose. It does not make sense, even for an outfit that appears to have as little sense as Party.

I think when players lose maybe they need to look in the mirror and realize that maybe you aren't the superstar poker player you thought. Quit blaming the site.

If you are a superstar player and are convinced of such, then variance is a bitch.
