Where have you been hiding, Patrick?

[/ QUOTE ]

I could tell you, but the answer is rather sordid, and doesn't jive with my ostensibly anti-gay political beliefs.

But man, for a guy with a little one, Patrick sure is fun.

on a side note, when in finland and amsterdam, i saw port-a-potties that some of you might enjoy. they were four sided walk ups, no doors or insides. you just walk up and take a leak, out in the open. anybody here ever seen these things?

[/ QUOTE ]

bobody could enjoy those

those things f'n STIIIIIIIIIIINK, if you think portapotties are bad, be glad you've never used these htings. they are circular w/ a concrete wall in the middle. w/ a hole in the ground.

[/ QUOTE ]

There was one in London as part of some exibition not sure if this is it, but could be as it is at the tate modern.

Glass Toilet

[/ QUOTE ]

From that link:

"It is impossible to see into the toilet, which will be free to use, but the person inside can see passers-by."

Can they really make it so that it's impossible to see in?

What's the name? I've recently become obsessed with Thai food.

p.s. don't tell me to go to city search and try to find the thai place with a glass shitter

[/ QUOTE ]

It's on Prince St. It isn't a standalone bathroom but a bathroom with a two-way mirror. There's a TV behind the can and you can faintly see the light from the screen from outside the bathroom.

Yeah those are pretty common in summer time at big cities.
The reason why those exisist is that not long a go drunken ppl were pissing literally everywhere.
And because 75% of ppl get drunk here every day at summer, it can get pretty disgusting.

My godmother(uh weird word, lets hope its correct) who owns a pretty nice house in center of Turku(nice city, but full of dick heads, btw ) told that about every night she was making food at the kitchen someone was peeing under their window.

Now the situation is little better..

Wtf, I live in London and I somehow missed this. If I knew this was still there then I'd go tomorrow, but it's in South London so I can't be bothered to go if it's not there, and I doubt it is anymore.

If something this monumental has passed me by, it makes me wonder what else I've managed to miss.

Not really. It says that it's a one-way mirror, but I think they're misusing that term. One way mirrors have opaque backing that are impossible to see through. Probably works like a classic two-way mirror. All two-way mirrors are 'see-through', it's just that there's a light differential between one side and the other, and a coating that requires a good viewing angle from the reflecting side. Shine a bright light head-on at the bathroom, and you'll be able to see Grey having sex in it.
