If my boss were calling me up regularly and telling me about her sexual fantasies, I would call that a hostile work environment. That makes it illegal.

If he really did the things that are outlined in the brief I read on thesmokinggun, then she has an excellent case to make for a hostile work environment. There is also possibly a case for quid pro quo harrassment as well.

I have no idea if he did it, but it would not suprise me at all.

A similar sort of class would no doubt be shown by Conservative Talk Radio hosts.

Ha Ha. Good one.

Seriously, though, I doubt they'll mention it, since he's one of their own.

Now, if it'd been a Democrat who'd been caught with his pants down... well, I think you know what they'd do.

I watched Franken on Sundance last night because I was curious what he would say. He showed remarkable restraint and class. I was never a big fan of his, but I have more respect for him everyday.

Clearly this has less to do with class and more to do with hedging his bets. If these allegations turn out to be completely untrue, how stupid would Franken look after jumping all over them? He may be every bit as biased and hateful as O'Reilly and Limbaugh but he is not stupid.
Now, if some tapes come out, or if the claims are substantiated in some other way, you can bet your ass Franken will attack it like a rabid rhino. And hey, it's fair game. But at this point in the game, class has very little to do with it.

I can't believe nobody started one yet, so here's a starter:

Holy [censored].

Based upon the complaint, it would appear that she has recordings of him saying this stuff. I say this because it's so precise, including pauses, etc.

I like O'Reilly as a news guy, but if he's on tape saying any or all of this stuff to an employee, I'm done watching him, and I imagine Fox News will deserve the black eye they'll have.

Actually, it might be a bit worse than a black eye. Call it a "massive headwound."

[/ QUOTE ]

Does anyone know if O'Reilly has denied these charges?

LOL... Cyrus is an ass. Considering the content of some of your posts, I thought you would of liked O'reilly.

He hasn't. In each interview he just says its unfair that he is being targeted for extortion and blackmail. He hasn't once said its unfair because the charges are untrue. He just says my lawyer says I can't talk about it.

Default O\'Reilly bingo

Those squares in the lower right hand corner seem more relevant than ever...
