Is anyone wasting their time watching this funeral?

My mom asked me if I'd take her to the Reagan Library, (Tuesday morning I think). Anyway, we left at around 2:00am thinking there wouldn't be too many people there at that ridiculous hour.

When we got to around Griffith Park the radio stated that once you hit the Reagan Fwy, traffic was gridlock and would take 3 to 5 hours to get to the college where they had a shuttle to take you to and from the Library. They then said that once you get in line at the library it would take anywhere from 7 to 10 hours. My mother and I looked at each other and started cracking up as we looked for the nearest exit to turn back around.

2) this is SOP whenever a President dies, we just haven't seen it in over 30 years because there was no State funeral for Nixon since he left office in disgrace.

As a former president, Nixon was entitled to a State funeral but the Nixon family chose not to request one.
