On a more serious note, I wonder if Gus was able to take any of Jordan Berkowitz"s winnings the other day on Stars. Anybody hear how it turned out?

Watching him play 100-200 is sort of sad though, considering 6 months ago he was playing 4k-8k. That's like me going bust and moving down to .5-.10. I would cry.

not really, he doesn't get the chance to play 4K-8K in Monaco, so he plays at the stakes he can play at. THe 4K-8K game isn't spread every night of the week either. Players like him and Carlos Mortensen play as much as possible when they're in the US on their 90 day travlers visa, and then they probably play a lot in europe now that it has gotten much bigger there

4-tabling online 100/200 is equivalent in blinds per hour to 800/1600 live. Plus some of these were short handed.

Rumor has it he was losing 4K/8K. He seemed to be cleaning up in the 100/200.

He's currently soliciting a nice suit to borrow from Chip Reese so he can look spiffy when he solicits a stake from Ellix Powers.

Gus was getting his clock cleaned regularly in the Big Game. He has gone broke a couple of times as a result. Maybe he has come to the realization that there are but a handful of players in the world who can beat that game and he isn't one of them.
