Bush supporters are just as misinformed when it comes to taxes and the economy as they are on the subject of Iraq.

How else can you explain their sudden conversion to the deficits-don't-matter philosophy (now that a Republican is running up massive debts)?

It's a faith-based presidency, that relies on a faith-based constituency, that is systematically lied to by a Republican-orchestrated media spin-machine.

Which brings up an interesting point: conservatives are no longer conservatives but are actually Republicans. The programs dont matter but making sure that a Republican is elected rather than a democrat is the only thing that matters.

The public has been fooled by fake tax cuts, non-existent WMD, but still believes that being Conservative is cool and anything said by republicans fits the conservative mode. Far from reality.

I'm not really sure why this article would come as such a shock. A lack of intelligence doesn't (imo) make you more likely to believe in the IRAQ myths, but being a Bush supporter DEFINATELY does.

If you are a Bush supporter you would HAVE to believe these things because the "War on Terror" would have to be the only thing that you could possibly believe in if you were going to support Bush.

Oh . . . Ok, I guess it would also make it easier to believe these things (and support Bush) if you were dumber as well.

Heritage does very solid work. Can you debunk some of it?
