Go verizon and get the LG VX8100 . This is the absolute best phone on the market. It is a razr...same menu and such. Better camera, better built, better everything. The razr is trendy and that is about it. It is not in anyway a good phone/the best on the market. [/ QUOTE ] |

I've had like zero problems with ATTWS/Cingular. That said- I've also never had to call their support, so maybe they're horrible.
I want this phone. A lot of people, with and without this phone, are being retards in this thread. |

As a phone, it's thin. It will fit in a shirt pocket and you won't look like you got a bad boob job. No antenna nub. Cingular service is fine. Not as good as Verizon, especially in the burbs - you will find more dead spots than verizon. Customer service for all the cell companies suck. I speak as a former Sprint -> Verizon -> Cingular customer. |

Something bizarre goes wrong with my phone every couple of months -- and they're so useless on the phone that I am forced to go into their stores, which means that I have been to 4 different Cingular stores in the two years that I've had their service. These "problems" have always been unmistakably their own fault -- the last two times, some sort of "code" on my account was changed to prevent me from receiving incoming calls. Of course, they have never offered me an explanation as to why this happened or how to prevent it. My personal favorite Cingular feature is that you actually have to pay money to SHOP for ringtones on your phone (and of course, additional money to buy them). When I asked for an explanation for this seemingly counterinuitive business practice, the man who sold me my phone replied "hey, there's no such thing as a free lunch". Every time I have called them (once a month or more to pay off my phone bill) they are always courteous, and speedy. I've never ever had a problem with Verizon. I can't say the same for any other company. |
