Read my lips. The water is not being pumped out all at once. Therefore, they do not have to be evaporated all at once after they just got pumped out. Hence, you don't need that big a space to spread them out. Certainly not an area larger than the city itself.

So we're pumping water out of NOLA into a small area at the rate it evaporates? Sometime around 3047 the city will be dry.

Due to Barbara Bush's big mouth, I am now able to take a breif pop-shot at my least favorite state.

Pump it to Texas. Perferably on her front lawn.

Do you realize how much water we're talking about?

[/ QUOTE ]

If it is spread out over a very wide area, it would easily get evaporated. Remember that they are not pumped out all at once but rather pumped out slowly. Also, New Orleans is very hot right now. The authorities should be told about my strategy. Once the the thing evaporates then there would be no more concerns.

Screw waiting for it to evaportate. Once the water is spread thinly, we'll just need a roll or two of this:

All of your concerns are answered in my responses to jakethebake. Something to do with not evaporating them all at once in response to having not having pumped them all at once.

If you have an average of five posts in response to every moron who starts a thread in OOT you reach 16K pretty fast I imagine.
