Re: Autorating in Poker Tracker
I used the autorate rules when I started, but not any more. The problem is this:
A 75/4/0.8 gets classified as passive post-flop, when really he's probably very aggressive - because of the high VP$IP. Then a 17/5/1.5 guy gets classified as a moneybag or whatever, but these guys are easy to just roll over - actually fairly passive pre-flop. So I just use PAHUD and use the numbers. Oh, and the auto-rate rules are for full-ring, and I'm playing 6-max now, so they're completely worthless anyway! |

Re: Autorating in Poker Tracker
PokerAce is much more customizeable, with the popup overlay thing being a totally customizeable list of detailed stats on each opponent. It also auto-detects everything as was mentioned.

Re: Autorating in Poker Tracker
I agree with you 100%. However, even if you believe them, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to take bison's rules and kick up the VPIP and PFR boundaries for each to make them reflect 6 max more.

[/ QUOTE ] Oh, I know. But I think we both realize that the numbers are easy enough to look at, and real reads are the most important thing anyway. |
