its one of mah fav musicals...i saw it last yr at the FOX and i see it everytime it comes to town...2 people who had never been it went with me last time and they loved it and one was a guy and not gay!
I wonder how the movie would turn out though hrmmm they already have the stage version on video.... and looking at the cast there r some hollywood actors in there and not so many from the play cast....

I believe that it starred Meredith Baxter-Berney and Corky from Life Goes On.

I thought Rent was great. I don't have really high standards for musicals though so my opinion doesn't carry much weight there. When I saw it on Broadway, Drew Lachey was supposed to play Roger, we were lucky enough to catch the show on one of his nights off and the guy who filled in did a really good job. I don't think I could have allowed myself to enjoy anything involving a member of 98 degrees.
