Part of the reason he "muffed" it was because of a late fair catch signal too. That's a penalty.

How was that a late fair catch signal? What, is he supposed to signal before the ball is kicked?

If you have TIVO or they show it again, watch it. He is signalling fair catch as they guy is being blocked 5 yards away. Then he looks back up and starts to move backwards and the ball hits his mask. He was watching the coverage and signaled late.

[/ QUOTE ]I've seen late fair catch signals. And that sir, was no late fair catch signal. It's a stupid rule, but it was the right call. This officiating crew is awful, but that call was correct.

1. Best uniforms in football.

2. I wish I was lucky enough to see more Charger games. He is an amazing back. What a tough runner.

Nonsense. The Steelers D is excellent. Brees is gtting it done. Now it's up to the Chargers D :shudder:
