no, it says black and then says club or spade...so it's 2-color

what's wrong with my math? divide 23.5% in half for the fact u have to choose the color and it's still <8-1

I was joking obvi.

Odds of first one being, say, red, 26/52 = 1/2
second one 25/51 = 1/(a little more than 2)
third one is 24/50 = 1/(a little more than 2)

Multiply them all together and get 1/(a little more than 8)

"In the Side Bet Module, on the top, you will see the payout if you win a Side Bet. The payout is labelled “Side Bet Pays __ for 1” and is centered at the top of the module. If the amount is 8 for 1"...

the payout is conditional, as you might expect (of course they use an 8:1 "example" )

not that im the type to do this, but how many people's cards would you have to know in order to make this bet EV+?

i mean, say you and 9 friends sat at limit omaha tourney (which take forever to fill id assume) and IMd your colors each hand and then pounded the less prevalent color.

I haven't looked at it, but I'm sure they won't let you get enough info to make a profitable bet.

Just for the record, I think the odds of picking it right are actually 7.5 to 1, and no matter how shamelessly Party tries to phrase it, they're still only paying you at 7 to 1.

Next up, Party Poker ring toss. Get three ringers in a row and win a Party Poker towel purse.
