"You have to have a huge roll"

To start off with? No you don't.

"You have to have high risk tolerance"

Anyone who's used to poker should be ok.

" You have to have good analytical skills to calculate the EV of the bonuses"

It's just some pretty simple maths.

"You need nerves of steel because sometimes it seems the sites do not let you withdraw the money and ask for additional information, do not respond to the first mail, take 3 weeks until they send you the money, misinterpret theit own T/Cs, etc., etc."

This is just an inconvenience. If you have done your homework then you will rarely get ripped off. I hit casino's alot back in '03 and only del rio screwed me (they ended up paying half of what was owed a year later).

"Honesty about all your personal info (name, address, birth date) pays in the long run. Gnoming is done by some successfully but I personally would lose my sleep over it. I guess, it needs a criminal mindset to to this."

Not much to comment, mainly that's it's very easy to do it, but do it at your own risk.

"You need to be willing to spend a lot of time on internet research."

This is half of it.

"And you need to plan your strategy beforehand AND STICK TO IT! If you are easily enticed to gambool under a -EV situation: STAY AWAY!"

It's actually ok as long as they're not overbetting or it doesn't force them to go much past the WR

I think you can do with much less (20K?)

I started with only 2K and stuck to the best bonuses (low deposit requirement, low WR). I do not think that most of them are still available though. Once I added 3K through whoring I added the next best bonuses with a higher WR. So, I guess, you could also build you BR there.

I made some mistakes (gambooling). I also did all Bonuses on the slots which is clearly the worst way to do them but I just couldn't force myself to suffer through the VP or BJ monotony. You probably can do only the best bonuses at the slots with long term +EV.

[ QUOTE ]
Approximately what do you consider a huge roll; 250k?

Do you find that the same sites offer bonuses all the time or are there new ones popping up all the time? How do you know whether or not the site can be trusted?

[/ QUOTE ]

250k is excessive. I'd say 20k to do it small time. I have about 40-50k floating roll for both poker and whoring.

There are some sites that can be hit for reloads religiously for huge amounts (though they usually catch on and tell you to eff off or change their terms), but mostly there are new sites popping up all the time.

Figuring out which sites to trust is the most challenging things. You have to be able to deal with not getting your money for 3-6 weeks sometimes. It's rough.

It's been a long time since I had less than $4,000 a month in bonuses (and I don't do poker bonuses as I play too high to chase them).

I'm looking to update my site tomorrow with a ton of new bonuses, I'll try and post some good ones here.

[/ QUOTE ]
First of all, that's a REALLY attractive addition to your income. Secondly, thanks for the information about your site.

From a total n00b to this side of whoring - much appreciated.

I've never done any bonus whoring, but was considering trying it out. Anyone making full time type income from this? What's the income potential bonus whoring?

I'm not looking to start out bonus whoring for $25 here and there. I have some bankroll to work with from poker. I hear you can make a lot of money with the right bonuses, so I'm hoping to get some insight from people who have experience. I have no idea what the profit potential is though. $50 per hour? $100 per hour? $200 per hour?

I'd appreciate any insights.

Thanks

My experience is that you should be able to start building up your bankroll from casino bonus whoring with bankroll as low as $300, if you had great run on few of the casinos.

I'm experiementing with a fixed $300 bankroll with currently $530 net profit up to date. More insights at my personal BLOG !!

I admit that I incorporate a bit of gamble in my bonus hunting with some discipline on risk management. You should try to stick to the pure bonus whoring strategies to be on the safe side. A pure bonus whoring should gives 70% to 150% profits from each casino you tried. Flat betting with minimal wager will breeze you through the wager requirement with absolutely low risk. Try and tell me your experience so I could publish them in my BLOG!!

Any gambling nOOb's beware of this BLOG^^^ It talks about "long term" uptrends and downtrends, and changing your bet based on if you are winning or losing. This is sort of correct to an extent, but not in the context he's using it. Your odds of winning or losing are the same regardless of the "trends". Not trying to be a Nit, but people need to be educated.

I forgot to mention I'm not talking about poker bonuses. I'm talking about any casino bonuses in general.(blackjack, video poker, etc...) I've heard some people who have made a LOT of money over a short period of time when there are good bonuses going on.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've made an attempt at just about every type of bonus out there, that I know of -- poker, casino, sports arbing, etc. I am willing to take on a reasonable amount of risk, though admittedly there are some that I don't come to close to. That being said, I would be very surprised if you could whore full time, NOT INCLUDING POKER. Including poker, it can easily be done, very easily. But if you are going to eliminate poker completely, I'd say it can't be done. I'm at about $30K profit this year from non-low-hanging casino stuff (reloads, obscure new sites and semi-secret promos that you need to be on the "inside" to find out about) and sports. I'm guessing I could have pushed $50K had I gotten into sports earlier and if I had a higher risk tolerance. I don't think that rate is maintainable on a yearly basis, however. All that being said, it's nice to be able to make some decent extra cash on the side doing something that is somewhat enjoyable.

I was recently considering doing some non-poker casino whoring. I've known about www.casinowhoring.com for a while, but never really looked into it (I think it's run by The Metetron).

Anyway, I just moved out of my parents' house to go to college, and got a room in a house with 3 other people. The rent is cheap, only $400/month, so I'm not looking to whore at $200/hr, just some easy money.

Yesterday, I was chilling in the living room, watching my wsop dvds, and one of my roommates came back and was saying how she can't find a job (she was trying to do those online survey scams). That got me thinking, I could have her do the bonuses in the casinos and split the profits.

The level 1 and 2 casinos on casinowhoring.com don't seem to require so much work, and it might pay the rent for both of us for both of us. If I print her the rules from wizardofodds.com and just tell her to follow the sheet, I don't think it requires too much intelligence to do that.

I would do it myself, but I can do better playing poker, which is why I haven't looked into these things until now. If I can have someone else do it while I play, then it'll be a nice addition. The casino-on-net one seems like a good place to start. It's only $200 to deposit, so if she somehow scams me or screws up this simple job, it won't hurt too bad.

Has anyone else attempted something like this?

You're either lying or you don't fully understand how much money there is to be made at casino whoring. If you make more per hour playing poker than any casino bonus, you would not need to live with roommates.

I've never casino whored, and I'd estimate single-table-whoring to be about $10/hr.

I get 15/hr playing poker, I play low stakes, $50NL.

Maybe I am underestimating the casino bonuses, and if my roommate performs at high rates, then I'll do the rest myself.

PS: My bankroll is only at $800, so I can't do the crazy whoring you guys do
