I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] everything bagels, but I haven't found a decent one since leaving the east coast. The "everything" bagels I find out here are more like "nothing" bagels

It must be stated that if you aren't from NY or NJ you are not eating real bagels, just some cheap imitation with the same name. With that said, I would go with plain with butter as my favorite.

I can't believe you talk about "not eating real bagels" and then you say plain with butter is your favorite.

So pathetic.

I used to go with cinammon raisin. Then, I switched to chocolate chip.

Oh yeah has anyone from San Diego ever gone to a Brueggers and ate a "California Spice" bagel? Its sun dried tomato + muenster cheese + lemon pepper.

My old shift manager started making those when we used to get bored during our afternoon shifts and we would start making our own bagels. We would make a ton and give them out as samples. It took off and we started selling them in our store as "David Bagels" and then when they started putting them in other stores they changed the name.

Just a fun fact for ya.
