Better way of thinking about it: Is there any likelyhood you have an ADVANTAGE by playing this hand.

YOu are not into the pot for any chips yet. Just toss it into the muck, and pretend it was 27o. You will find a better place to play AK.

Fold. Best case scenario you have a coin flip, worst case your drawing very slim if not dead. If by raising 3X pot you literally meant 3 times the pot(210), than it would be a bit tougher as you've already dumped over a 1/4 of your stack in the pot. If you meant 3XBB(which is what you should have done) than that's an easy fold.

I always think of this as one of two possibilities, both of which make me want to fold.

1) They are not maniacs, my AK is dead.

2) They are maniacs, my AK has to stand up or hit and I'm going to get a better shot at the maniacs later.
