That's alright I understand... I guess in the mean time I'll just play the 8-3 for the nuts everytime I pick it up and see if that's it... it must be if it comes out victorious on the cover, right?

its about how shitty hands like 8-3o can beat the shit out out hands like AKs with on the river, even though the AKs had the better hand, and the better draw once the turn hits. it illustrates the randomness of hold em hands.

No, Chuck & company have changed this forum so that you no longer can insert html scripts directly into your posts. Doesn't work anymore.

Default What about the gun?

The hand is self-explanatory, but what's the deal with the gun? I don't like violence.

Default Mason has already told his \"secret\"

You can get an answer in the Essays forum.

Under the heading "Mason Sounds Off!", there is an essay called "Why the Two Plus Two Web Page?". In the essay, Mason tells an 83 story.

Of course, Mason may have been using 83 symbollically in the essay and the true story of the cover is something else. I guess we'll never know for sure.

Mason was on the grassy knoll. Sklansky was in the book depository.

Dick,

Actually I was helping test the new forum yesterday and you could but the format was not the same. I extracted Chuck's source code on a link he made and inserted my own link in a new test post. I had trouble making a plain English label but was able to at least generate a link. I lost the format and will try to ask Chuck how to do it again tomorrow.

Regards,

Rick
