ya I pretty much agree in that people here don't really understand the dynamic I guess. They didn't understand it here either. Anyways the only part I thought I played poorly was the river where I think its very superior to bet it after calling your turn raise so you don't get a free showdown. Of course I knew you would fold any pocket pair to a turn 3 bet but I don't think you lay down a big pair for one bet if I stop and go the river. Problem is I have a hard time putting you on exactly aces or kings since you 3 bet me preflop earlier with 43s... Oh well I play bad.

Hi CMO,
I'd just like to point out that elysium's advice was dead on, and would've gotten the most from you (unless you spotted the tell that you did in Vehn).

Also, didn't you discount AT quite a bit, considering the contents of your hand? Because then, if your assessment of his pre-flop standards had been correct (and it seems awfully narrow vs. a good player), you would be a 12 to 7 favorite to have a winner. But as more and more bets go in on a no-draw flop, you need to give more consideration to being wayyyyy behind.

Hi Nightwish and Death Valley,

[ QUOTE ]
If someone asks whether you have a T, that means he has either AT or, more likely, 55.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is true of a bad player. When a good player asks this, he's trying to represent a good ten, in hopes that you'll back down soon--he started out value raising, but now he'd like to just put in one more bet on each street.

You're done unless the board pairs or you hit a ten.

Something was obviously lost in the genetic cloning. Neither Dynasty nor Clarkmeister would ever fold a Ten here.

It doesn't seem ClarkNasty got much of the poker talent. So, if DynaMeister shows up at your table, I'd be very worried.

I think it's pretty obvious I wasn't advocating folding. Dyn o Meister would have figured that one out.

Is JTo against a very good EP raiser really a good spot to defend?

That was a straddle, so yes.

Plus, I wasn't playing against any good players.
