I voted for "Flee to Canada," but in reality I would flee to a different country.

The flee to Canada option has been closed, by treaty between US and Canada.

In other words, Canada will send you back.

Default Easy...

... get a special bill passed so that those who disagree with me on this forum are the first to be called up. Look at the fringe benefits, we get many of the moderators to post from the battle field under the stars (and stripes) instead of while bravely and with great courage multi-tabling Party Poker. Of course we can then no longer use the term chicken hawks.

Brilliant AndyFox. In my case, I would hope that the armed forces would realize that they would be better served if I performed a non-combat role. I think I would be a liability on the front lines. I'm starting law school in a couple of days, and if I can't find a job I like in the private sector, I am considering becoming a JAG.

If the turds hit the fan though, I wouldn't mind training to become a pilot.

First, I'd like to see that, IMO, a draft is unlikely, but assuming there was one I would volunteer. If that meant being in combat, so be it.

I myself would apply for CO status. If that didn't work, I would try to go to Canada most likely.

If you really are a CO you should stay and risk jail rather then run. But as I said, I don’t’ think you’ll have to make that choice.
