Let's suppose Arnold does win it. If he does reasonably well for California during his term, he could conceivably win the Presidency in 2008 and take up the war against terror where Bush leaves off.

He can win because he is liberal on social issues. Californians are not going to accept a social conservative in the governor's office. But I think ultimately the recall fails because people see it as just political opportunism.

Gustav Schwarzenegger, Arnold Schwarzenegger's father, was a Nazi stormtrooper, but it seems he was never responsible for any crimes. He apparently raised his son so as to instil great discipline.

Arnold has beeen very active in his adult life working and speaking out against racism. One of his favorite charities is the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Museum of Tolerance, for which he enjoys raising money.
