Flop
The consensus is to call and check-raise most flops. That was the same conclusion I reached, but the flop came and there was a change of plans...
Paradise Poker 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls. Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets...</font> What do you think of this line?

KQJr is a board that is I won't check raise since we haven't hit anything (our gutshot is worth a small mention here) and it's fairly unlikely it missed the PFR unless he raised with 77/88/99. I also might not raise a JTx board. [/ QUOTE ] so your check raising small cards. Your also check raising an A on the flop?

[/ QUOTE ] Fantastic. Bet/3bet is fantastic with a good draw. The reason why I like it so much is that you frequently have a significant amount of fold equity on the turn to push off a stronger A. I believe you must check/fold the river if you don't hit anything though after you bet the turn.
