Hi Lee,

Thanks again for taking the time to participate in this thread. Any chance that Harrington's HOH books can be made available in the FPP store?

[/ QUOTE ]

I already asked this and the answer I got was that as Harrington doesn't want to sign the books, they won't be offering them (but you can get a Moneymaker's poster. He has no problem signing them).
Publicity is apparently placed higher than quality.
And BTW I already told them that nobody gives a **** about the graffities in the book.

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW, the HoH books (and also SSHE) are available for FTPs in the FullTilt store.

That makes perfect sense. Why would anyone want a couple thousand dollars if they have to wait a whole month?

[/ QUOTE ]No problem, Stars can just raise their rake 33%, then give you 25% of the total back. That way you can get the savings at the end of the month.

Careful son, your spreading too much logic.

Hi Lee,

Are you planning on starting higher buy-in 20-table sng's? They look like they're pretty popular.

how does Poker Stars plan on bringing the fish to their site?

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe they have or are starting an affiliate program. Since they wont offer rakeback seems like alot of players they bring in will be fish who click on banners or sign up for free books.

ummm....stars IS advertising on TV.
(as well as in magazines etc).

Should they just go to every bar in the U.S. and personally invite every drunk they can find?

There are 50k+ players on at stars in the evenings.
Even amongst the few hundred who play 3/6 ring and higher the games are beatable.

I don't know. It feels like this is kind of complaining to the site-manager that it's THEIR fault that their players don't cap pre-flop with 94o.

Opponents don't have to be drunk and stupid in order to be beatable.

They should put on more stupid ads.

The Stars ads look and feel like they're for people who take poker seriously. They should design a campaign intended to attract those who don't take poker seriously.

i think the stars ads aren't necessarily going to NOT bring in the fish.

"I'm Chris Moneymaker and I got good by playing the play-money tables at POkerstars.net"

They had back-to-back WSOP champs. They are using it.
They are basically saying "come play here where the champions learned to play....and you too can learn to be champion."

And, if you haven't noticed, there are plenty of fish at Stars.

Dear Lee,

Your 6 max rake stinks. No 5-10 and up 6max limit player in their right mind would play on Stars. 6 handed you guys are close to even with Party despite being the same rake. 5 handed Party charges less rake than you guys. UB has you both beat, not to mention both sites have rakeback which for a limit player is a lot more useful than FPP's.

Please reexamine and try and see why any mid stakes 6max player would ever want to play on Stars. Stars comes in close to last in this department.

Limit 6-max players pay more rake than anyone and they get the shaft at Stars. Not cool Lee.
