Good Riddance
Arafat is the father of modern terrorism. It is times like this, I wish I wasn't an atheist so I could believe he was burning in hell........
His Palestinian suicide-murder bombers tactics were first used on Jews and then later used on the USA on 9/11. He oversaw the Palestinian "education" system which has created several generations of psychotic people who thinks targeting civilians is a valid tactic. Good riddance to bad rubbish........ |

Re: Yassir Arafat, RIP
I basically agree. Arafat was brilliant as a guerilla leader and a disaster as a statesman.
[ QUOTE ] Had Arafat been killed in 1994 he would have been remembered far more favorably. [/ QUOTE ] Certainly by the U.S. and Israel. Among Palestinians I wonder. It seems more likely that with or without Arafat, Israel would have still interpreted Oslo as total capitualtion, clearing the way for the old policy of coralling occupied Palestinians into semi-autonomous enclaves. Arafat could at least claim that he spent the last decade of his life trying to prevent it, if indeed he had to beg. |
