Default Help... what\'s wrong with my game?

Using PokerTracker to track my play on PP

I have results for 230 $10+$1 S&G's on PP :
Net Profit : $480
Ret-On-Inv : $480/$2530 = 18.97%
IT$ : 41.74%
Avg Fin : 4.37
1st : 26 (11.3%), 2nd : 31 (13.5%), 3rd : 39 (17.0%)

Due to the wildness of PP, the inability to read half of my opponents and the consistant bad beats, I thought I would actually do better at a higher level against better players.

I decided I was ready to move to the next level and headed to the $20+$2 with 30x the buy-in.

After 40 tourneys, I have the following results
Net : $260
Ret-On-Inv : $260/$880 = 29.55%
IT$ : 40.00
Avg Fin : 4.33
1st : 7 (17.5%), 2nd : 4 (10.0%), 3rd : 5 (12.5%)

So far, in this VERY LIMITED SAMPLE, I was right. I'm averaging almost 11% more ROI and I'm WINNING more at this level.

Now, the problem is that I can't go looking for BETTER PLAYERS and expect to win. I have to learn to beat the loose (agressive or passive) players that are all over this poker boom.

One other note : I am horrible at RING games... especially if they have loose players in them. I feel I can only win playing SINGLE table tourneys.

Where can I learn to fix this?
