Default Absolute Poker Affiliate Problems

Hi All--

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck being an Absolute affiliate. I'm having some real issues.

Basically, they changed their affiliate tracking about 2 months ago. I changed all my links and had AP verify that they were set up correctly.

Since then I've had 40 different people visit their site from mine, and they show that no one downloaded or made a deposit. That's pretty unbelievable to me, so I've asked them repeatedly to look into this for me. I received no reply to any of my attempts.

I have removed all AP advertising from my site, and I'm also done playing there.

I guess this can serve as a warning, if nothing else.

You are not alone. Seems once IA took it over it went to crap immediately. Tracking/stats/deposits all disappeared. It will no longer be part of our promotions until Gian sees that moving the program over there was a HUGE mistake.

Well IMO Absolute poker is the big mistake itself. I wouldn't blame their current problems on outsourced promotion. I won't have anything to do with that site in any capacity. As far as I can see there is not reason for that site to exist and I'm surprised they are still around. Do you know any real player that plays there?

In my books Absoulte is right up there with that other site that had all of the problems with bots. I believe that one is long gone, at least it is from my memory

Absolute is in my top 3 sites that I play the most. I have never had a problem with them. Their software is average, their games are semi-fishy, and they have really good reload bonuses almost every month.

They also just sent me a newsletter that had a $20 bonus for a $50 deposit and a coupon for a free $10 multi-table tourny.

Their cash-outs have always been in my Neteller account within 24 hours.

The affiliate who is kicking back part of the rake to me said that they are only paying him a % of the rake, even though when I signed up the program was a % of rake +$50. It isn't right of them to change their program mid-stream.

yeah, their affiliate program blows. they changed my $50 CPA deal to a 20% of rake without even telling me, and changed my affiliate linking so i had to rework it.

One of your top 3 sites? Interesting. I've heard lots of complaints from AP affiliates but very few about playing at their site. Still if they burn affiliates how long before they start burning their players. Same mind set IMO.

Thanks Cindie. As a matter of fact, he e-mailed me not long after I posted the original message here. I replied to him today, explained the whole mess to him, and am awaiting his reply.
