Hand 1: If I'm going to take a stab at this pot (read-dependent), I strongly prefer leading out. I don't want to give anybody an ego-based excuse for peeling one off. Edit: For some reason I missed the PFR. I like the line you adopted.

Hand 2: I'd bet the flop with my overcards, gutshot, and bd flush. The check-raise is marginal but probably +EV if you can count on nobody folding to it.

Hand 1: I don't think the PF raiser is going to fold on that flop. Call the flop, fold the turn UI.

Hand 2: Don't we want to see the river as cheap as possible? Don't think a CR was a good idea.

In hand 2, giving him 9 outs for the flush and thee for the overcards, he has an minor equity edge with that many callers, so it's +EV to pump the turn. The only reason not to do so is that it sucks for anyone to fold.

First hand I fold the flop rather than raise. Even if you are able to get the hand heads-up, you have few outs if you are behind and there are too many overcards to burn you if you are ahead. You missed the set - time to drop out and wait for the next hand.

Second hand I play the same. Betting into 5 players on the flop is not going to accomplish much, nor is check-raising, since there is only one player between you and the raiser. The possibility of being reverse-dominated and/or making your straight and chopping/losing makes betting/raising suspect, although the pot is big enough that you should at least call one bet. The turn raise is good since you will probably get everyone to come along for your flush draw.

1: I'd fold this hand after the flop bet. After being raised on the flop I'd call. You're being offered 15.5-1 odds for making this call, so even with only 2 outs you should call this.

2: I think you played this one right. Maybe I'd just call the turn, but I'm very much in doubt here.
