Default Routine, que no?

Party Poker 5-10. This is my first hand at the table, I have no reads.

UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, button calls, SB completes. I check in the BB w/ 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Flop: (5.4 SBs) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets, MP calls, CO button and SB drop.

Turn: (3.7 BBs) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero raises, MP 3-bets, Hero caps.

River: (11.7 BBs) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks...

I would have bet the turn hoping he had a king. If I had capped the turn I would have led the river.

If I bet the turn he's almost surely folding any non-draw hand w/o a K in it - which he will bet for me anyway. And giving a free card can't cost me the pot.

What hand does he call the flop and fold the turn?

Don't understand the check on the river if you capped it on the turn. What was your reasoning?

I see a lot of players in this game that will call the flop w/ 1 overcard, 2 undercards and a backdoor draw, etc. But then they'll fold on the flop. Also, once checked to, a lot of players will take a shot at the pot when they would have folded to a bet.

Bet the river.

It's unlikely he has Kings Full, he probably had KQ, KJ.

I'd call a raise though as opposed to re-raise.

Hey Dude,

You should bet the turn. I'll let others explain.

River: (11.7 BBs) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks, MP bets, hero raises, MP calls.

MP shows K9, MHIG.

After the turn action, he almost surely has a K. I'm pretty sure he was only planning on calling my river bet.
