Default Too aggresive on turn? - Need feedback on hand

Busted out way early in a Party 20+2 MTT yesterday. No read on villain to tell if he was slow playing or chasing. I was worried more about the spade flush and pushed the turn to make him pay to draw. I completely overlooked the possibility of Broadway showing but can't believe villain would call without any spades.

How should I have bet this and when should I have laid it down? I appreciate all feedback.

Thanks, Steve

Default Re: Too aggresive on turn? - Need feedback on hand

I would definitely check behind on the turn and check-call the river. It's possible the way the hand has played out so far that he has the made flush already, and I don't think he calls your turn allin with less than AK, a set, broadway, or a made flush. Enough players won't call your allin with a flush draw to make that bet +EV, given the number of ways you have to lose.

Also, I think your biggest mistake is not raising more preflop. The stacks are deep enough that you are pricing in unsuited broadway cards to outflop you. That said, your flop bet should have kept him out, but it didn't, so I don't think a bigger raise would have helped you here. Anyway, I still would raise between 80-100 here preflop.
