30+3 all in hand
30+3 at party. 177 players, paying 160. I'm in the small blind with AKo and an average stack of 4100. Blinds are 300-600. EP limper, folded to cutoff who raises to 900. Button folds and it's up to me. I figure I have to get a hold of some chips to move on up the ladder and this looks like a good spot. Limper might have some kind of pair and it looks to me like the cutoff may be trying to pick up the pot. I had just moved to this table and didn't have any info on anyone. Limper had 6000 and raiser 12000. I move in, limper folds, cutoff thinks a long while, calls and shows AQo. Q comes on the flop and I'm gone. What say you about my play?

Re: 30+3 all in hand
good play, tough break. you went in with the best and got outdrawn. and if the blinds were 3/6 he couldnt have raised to 900? if i knew he had AQ i would push in there all day.

Re: 30+3 all in hand
Why bet into a guy showing aggression and with a larger chipstack than yours. If your opponent had a pair you're in trouble too. I say wait until you're first in, or call to see a flop. I don't like this play, espescially on the bubble.

Re: 30+3 all in hand
Blinds are already fairly high vs. his stack size. What does trying to slip into the money get you, $60-80? Go for the double up and a big move up the ladder.
