A few hands for review
Hand 1:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown BB (t955) UTG (t865) MP1 (t1205) MP2 (t65) CO (t1880) Button (t1850) Hero (t1180) Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls t100, MP1 folds, MP2 calls t65 (All-In), CO folds, Button folds, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: (t365) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players, 1 all-in) Hero bets t250, BB folds, UTG calls t250. Turn: (t865) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in) Hero bets t830 (All-In), UTG calls t515 (All-In). River: (t2210) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players, 3 all-in) Final Pot: t2210 Results in white below: UTG shows Jh Qh (flush, queen high). MP2 shows 4d 9d (one pair, tens). Hero shows 8s 7s (two pair, tens and eights). Outcome: UTG wins t1895. Hero wins t315. On this hand, I thought he was on a draw, maybe top pair, but I felt fairly confident I was ahead in the hand. I don't know if I could have played it any other way that would have made him give up on his flush draw. Comments? Hand 2: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown UTG+1 (t800) MP1 (t590) Hero (t680) MP3 (t435) CO (t260) Button (t915) SB (t1445) BB (t1460) UTG (t1415) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, Hero calls t30, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (t90) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets t30, BB folds, Hero raises to t125, SB folds. Final Pot: t245 Results in white below: No showdown. Hero wins t245. On this hand, I was worried about the flush or even the straight. I don't think I could have milked it for anything and felt good about it, so I raised. Comments? Hand 3: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown Button (t2410) Hero (t1400) BB (t1245) UTG (t2945) Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls t100, Button calls t100, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: (t400) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero bets t150, BB calls t150, UTG folds, Button calls t150. Turn: (t850) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets t125, BB calls t125, Button calls t125. River: (t1225) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets t100, BB calls t100, Button folds. Final Pot: t1425 Results in white below: BB shows Td Ac (one pair, tens). Hero shows Ts 7c (one pair, tens). Outcome: BB wins t1425. On this hand I flopped TPBK and led out. I think maybe I should check raise and see how it is played out. If he reraises, I can give it up pretty easily, but if he just calls my raise, should I go ahead and bet out? Hand 4: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown SB (t2135) Hero (t1325) UTG (t1895) Button (t2645) Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG folds, Button calls t200, SB folds, Hero checks. Flop: (t500) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets t1125 (All-In), Button calls t1125. Turn: (t2750) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) River: (t2750) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: t2750 Results in white below: Hero shows 8c Qc (high card, king). Button shows Jh Js (three of a kind, jacks). Outcome: Button wins t2750. How bad was the push on this hand? I thought the button would limp in with maybe an ace, bad kicker or maybe KQ, so I thought a push here would get him to fold. Even if he doesn't, I still have outs. If he has a jack, I still have one overcard as well. Comments? Thanks in advance. |
