Need help with shortgame.

I've been focusing alot on improving my shortgame in the last few months. But i feel as if i've got alot more to learn. I consistantly make it to the final 4 of the Sit N Gos on stars. Last night i had 4 4th place finishes in a row. I usually am the low stack when i reach the final 4. Which leads me to believe that i am probably not playing enough hands. I'm having trouble finding a good balance between playing tight and not playing too loose. What is a good preflop % for stars sit n gos. I play the 10 dollar level. I've decided to play stars becuase there competition is better and i'm really looking at improving my play. I just can't seem to do that when i'm playing (less then great players). I feel i'm more comfortable then i used to be in my reads and in my bluffing. Just looking for some advice and/or comments. Thanks!
