Default Call a 3-bet from BB w/J5s? That\'s crazy talk, right?

Literally, my first hand. PT notes on the two MP players show that they're at least OK in the short term.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: JACKI is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 (Solid) raises, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO 3-bets, Button folds, SB calls, JACKI calls, UTG caps, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 (Solid) calls, CO calls, SB calls, JACKI calls.
I think it's important to note that CO is short stacked, so I don't give the 3bet as much credit as usual. The 3 limps before the raise, the SB's coldcall, and CO's stack convinced me I was at the right table for something as dumb (smart?) as this.

Flop: (22 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, JACKI raises, UTG 3-bets, Solid folds, CO caps, SB calls, JACKI calls, UTG calls.
Um, wow. can't do anything different here, right?

Turn: (19 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, JACKI bets, UTG raises, CO calls $0.50 (All-In), SB calls, JACKI 3-bets, UTG calls, SB calls.

River: (28.12 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, JACKI bets, UTG calls, SB calls.

Final Pot: 31.12 BB
Main Pot: 19.50 BB, between CO, SB, JACKI and UTG. > Pot won by JACKI (19.50 BB).
Pot 2: 11.62 BB, between SB, JACKI and UTG. > Pot won by JACKI (11.62 BB).

Results in white below:
SB shows 8c Td (one pair, tens).
JACKI shows 5h Jh (flush, jack high).
UTG shows Ad Ah (one pair, aces). A case for not limpreraising.
CO shows 7s 5s (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: JACKI wins 31.12 BB.

So let me have it. How awful is that preflop call?

Uh, you were in last place preflop of the four hands shown. I think that should tell you what to do next time this comes up.

Good luck,
play well,

I don't think you actually want to hear comments on your preflop call. You got a big kick out of winning this hand, and that's fine, but your call is an abomination.

Since you have now hit your 1 in 100 flop (or whatever) you can now fold such hands, as you know you should, whenever they come up in the future.
