Default Is Empire now tight/nitty beyond all recognition?

Over the last week I've been working off a 1000 hand $100 deposit bonus on Empire mult-tabling a very small game I've never played before but would like to learn.

I have nothing to compare it with (except perhaps Party average pot size) but it sure seems Empire is the predictable nitfest filled up with tight playing multi-tablers that some/many of us (I didn't count) predicted when they split from Party.

Since I only have 80 hands to go I'm posting a poll. Pardon me if I'm belaboring or rubbing in the obvious.

it's definitely tightened up a bit, but I think it's a WEAK tight and still very beatable (similar to Absolute but not THAT bad). I think the $1/2 and $2/4 games on the x-skins are easier than Poker Stars, for example.

as long as the bonuses don't get too much worse than 10x on average, I'll be sticking around and enjoying myself.

I'm almost finished the little PL Omaha/8 games on Empire. I've opened up Party's lobby a few times to compare (obviously this is a small sample) and every time the average pot size is much larger on Party. As mentioned I'm just learning this game but my guess is I'd have done much better in a looser game without bonus or rakeback.

I'm not a fan of Party or what they have done but I'm trying to be realistic.

OK, two more hands

Cool. Won 97 cents clearing the bonus learning a new game in 1088 hands.

Did lose about $60 bucks playing short holdem though .

Hi Rick -

Thanks for the $60, it helped to add to my rakeback of $20.75 for 10,000 hands of play.

Oh and I think they are thinking about taking out the call button in the interface. It doesn't seem to be used all that often.

The smallest games are not as loose. Avg pot sizes are down significantly. Game selection is reduced. The games are beatable, but they are different.

6-max is still bad just not as bad as before. Table selection is more important. The NL games are better than limit imho.

I cleared the GET15 yesterday in a little over 1k hands. It took about 3 hours. Made $120 plus the bonus at $25NL and stud 1/2 (including 2 big losses AA vs QQ, KK vs QQ all-in preflop same guy spikes a Q on the river twice).

Most table have 3 people 15-25 vpip and the rest much looser. All of my tables had a guy 65/70 + at one time or another.
