Default The Best Of 2+2 SNG Advice

I read 2+2 probably 5 - 8 times a day, hover in the SNG section, browse the MTT and occassionally over to the Books/Software and Small Stakes forums. It seems that the same types of posts occur over and over, and that the true, great, pieces of advice get buried under the same old run-around day in and day out.

Is anyone willing to share their favorite posts? I search and read pretty much anything by Jason S., Zee Justin, Dali, eastbay, bisonbison, emarkm, and DOZENS more.

Is there any way that we can get the SNG FAQ updated with some new links?

I use the search all the time and from my experience it leaves a lot to be desired.

Just looking for a way to grow my library of great poker content and help weed through the bad beat stories etc...

I'm sure I'll get blasted for not looking hard enough, but I think it's worth it if there are a few people willing to share some of their favorite threads. Thanks in advance.

I'd blast you if I didn't think it was a great idea... I know there is someone out there willing to do this work to benefit us?

I'll be happy to collect it all if anyone wants to PM me. To start here are just a few of my favorites so far:

ranking hands against "push hands" preflop - eastbay

OK, let's talk about wmajik's article - irieguy (blind stealing)

some notes on notes - bisonbison (pokertracker player rankings, note taking, etc.)

my problem in tournaments - eMarkM (tournament strategies)

Interesting Formula (Shove EV) - ZeeJustin

hand against MLG - Che (interesting perspective from a bunch of 2+2ers on a hand between Che and MLG)

Don't forget this one, which simply MUST be in an updated FAQ and is perhaps the most shockingly underviewed thread on this forum in terms of post quality.

Dethgrind's ICM calculations thread

Just over 500 views last I checked. This is after being bumped and linked to a lot. We have plenty of bad beat posts that get more views than this. Scary. Then again, maybe I should just be happy and leave well enough alone.

Tim (t Perkin) has been the driving force behing the FAQ and last I heard, he was working on a 3rd version of it. Of course, last I heard, he has also just moved and started a new job so it might be somewhat slow going.

It's too bad because I was really happy that this little forum had such a good tool in place to answer the repeat questions that sometimes bog down message boards. I notice that the Zoo now has a sticky FAQ composed by Lorinda. Theirs looks so good and now I am jealous, even though they are just a bunch or unoriginal copycats

Tim doesn't seem to check in that often anymore so perhaps he would appreciate some help in updating the FAQ. It's really his call, but I am sure there are many who wouldn't mind contributing and helping out.

Regards
Brad S
