Young crowd taking over poker
Hi All,
I'm watching the '93 WSOP on ESPN Classic (yeah, it's a slow night), and they just had a segment about the young players -- like Ted Forrest -- taking over poker. The more things change, the more they stay the same.... Cris |

I watched this too, at the end, they showed the winners of the other WSOP events. I think Ted won 3 that year. Not a bad showing. Phil won two I think. All in all, I like the fact that ESPN is showing the old series.

If you'd have asked me a few years ago if it were possible to not be annoyed by Dick Van Patten, I'd have thought it impossible.
Now, after a couple of years of VVP, Dick's an absolute breath of fresh air. |

Is he the same as his son? "A wired pair of 5's. A real monster. Look how cool and calm he is playing it. HE COMES IN FOR 40,000! HE'S MAKING A MOVE NOW! XXXX is on the morphine drip, etc, etc". lol
