razor phones
ok, i want to be a total tech whore, and get this phone, but i don't want to spend $200 on it. i was at a cartoys tent sale a while back, and cingular had it for $90. unfortunately i wasn't ready to switch services, and now i can't find that deal anywhere.
any ideas where to find a deal on this phone? i'm thinking about getting either cingular or tmobile service. |

Re: razor phones
i'm pretty sure you get the razor for free if you sign a 2-year contract or something along those lines. just be sure and look for the best deal.

RAZR = Cingular Cingular = Bad Draw your own conclusions. [/ QUOTE ] is cingular really that bad? they bought out at&t didn't they? you'd think they'd have a really good network now. also tmobile has the razr phone as well, and this is what i'm leaning towards. |

Re: razor phones
Everyone I have talked to says Cingular's customer service is terrible.
As for T-Mobile, their coverage is pitiful. You really should just go with Verizon, by far the best wireless carrier. |

Re: razor phones
I've had like zero problems with ATTWS/Cingular. That said- I've also never had to call their support, so maybe they're horrible.
I want this phone. A lot of people, with and without this phone, are being retards in this thread. |

[ QUOTE ]
I've had like zero problems with ATTWS/Cingular. That said- I've also never had to call their support, so maybe they're horrible. [/ QUOTE ] I'm about 0 for 10 with helpful Cingular representatives. Something bizarre goes wrong with my phone every couple of months -- and they're so useless on the phone that I am forced to go into their stores, which means that I have been to 4 different Cingular stores in the two years that I've had their service. These "problems" have always been unmistakably their own fault -- the last two times, some sort of "code" on my account was changed to prevent me from receiving incoming calls. Of course, they have never offered me an explanation as to why this happened or how to prevent it. My personal favorite Cingular feature is that you actually have to pay money to SHOP for ringtones on your phone (and of course, additional money to buy them). When I asked for an explanation for this seemingly counterinuitive business practice, the man who sold me my phone replied "hey, there's no such thing as a free lunch".
