Then why is he folding the winning hand? [/ QUOTE ] Because he doesn't want to gamble. When you can read Doyle as accurately as Fischman can, you can wait to get your chips in as a big favorite. The AK and K9 laydowns were just setting the old man up, you watch. |

If Doyle comes back over the top with his nothing, then I give Doyle the credit for making a masterful reraise, but just calling is asking to get bluffed out of the pot on the river. |

geez I hate Scott more than anyone but Matusow but Fischman's results in some of the lower <10k events WSOP and non WSOP events is stellar. He won the HORSE event and unlike some events you cannot win this event without being one of the best in the world. He hasn't played nearly as many 10k events in his lifetime as some of the others so give him time

He hasn't played nearly as many 10k events in his lifetime as some of the others so give him time [/ QUOTE ] The problem people have with Fishman is his cocky attitude. He was actually commenting on how he had Doyle read perfectly. Yet, in the three hands they showed, Fishman 1. Got blown off a slightly better hand pre-flop 2. Folded the winner on the river 3. Went all-in with a badly dominated hand and got knocked out of the tournament. You can't act like you've got your opponent perfectly read and the make one bad play after another without looking like a fool. |
