I searched the site for an autorating setup scheme and didn't come up with any results. Can somebody point me in the right direction if this is out there (which I believe it should be) or can you provide me with some general guidelines? If it helps, I usually play $1/2 9 player max tables.
Thanks! |

lautzutao turned me on to this page I think it has what you are looking for. [/ QUOTE ] Isn't that for NL? I've got a good one from bisonbison. it sets most AF factors down from 2.0 to 1.5 so it reveals people's true aggressiveness better. PT will now be more sensitive to very aggressive people, and moderatly aggresive people (like 1.7 or 1.8). PM me and I'll email it to you. Take it or leave it. Even make up your own! edit-I've tried all kinds of rules and I'm happiest with the default..hehe |

Buried down in Bison's original "Notes on Notes" thread is a link to a guy who hosts a downloadable file of autorate rules importable into PT. Just checked, and its still there.
Download for Bison's autorate rules. |

I've been using the same autorate rules (Bison's) long enough that the icons mean numbers to me. Like Felipe said, a visual mnemonic.
I do use GT+, in icon-only mode. Numbers all over the table all the time are distracting, even irritating, to me. The trade-off of course is that if a subtle variation in the exact numbers might help make a decision, it takes time to click/hover the icon to see them. To me the trade-off is worth it, but if I multi-tabled more it may not be. |

The other problem with bison's rules is that it doesn't take into account c/r%, attempt to steal, defend BB or SB, or WtSD, all of which are important stats. You can't really make an autorate system that incorporates all of these, so I prefer to just have the numbers. |
