Very Early QQ (10+1)
Was my bet too weak on the flop? Did he sense weakness and come over the top? I guess my thought process was to come in for about half of the pot so as not to cripple myself early on. So do I call hoping he has AK/AJ/AT/99 and not JT/TT/JJ/KK/AA?

Re: Very Early QQ (10+1)
I am no expert at this but I see nothing wrong with your play. Your raise preflop is about right.
On the flop, I would have bet about 2/3 of the pot, to give anyone on a str8 or flush draw the incorrect odds to draw. However, I don't think betting t275 or t175 (your bet) would have made any difference because c/o would have pushed anyway. Concerning what to do after the push? I fold. He called your initial raise and pushed your next bet. I would say he can probably beat TPTK. You still have t725 and the blinds are t10/15. You have plenty of chips. Look for a better spot. |

Re: Very Early QQ (10+1)
you gotta bet at least 250 on that flop. to protect from overcard/ flush + striaght draws. given that I bet that much, I'd call the allin.
I'd call the allin here as well since Party poker players often slowplay their sets. You will often see flushdraw/ TPTK here. did C/O have JT? |
