My 14 y/o nephew is getting a portable DVD player for Christmas and I want to get him some DVDs to watch on it. I'm looking for some recomendations. Any suggestions.

There's an awful lot of right answers here, but I'd suggest Batman Begins for recently released, or all the Lord of the Rings if you want to splash out. Or take him out, give him a limit to spend to, and let him roam free to pick. |

Good call on the Amazon wishlist, Mero.
You can also give him a gift certificate at the local DVD shop or Amazon etc. This would be a very fun way for him to get really excited about picking out exactly what he wants, and is almost guaranteed to get him more excited about his choices than what you would give him, if only because he chose them. Whatever you get him anyway, after he finishes it, he'll instantly be thinking about the next movies and wish he had them instead. |
