Default missed AK hand

a little lost here... whats the standard play on the flop when bet into?

UTG folds, MP raises, Hero 3-bets, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (12 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, MP calls, Hero calls, SB calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, MP calls, Hero folds, SB folds.

River: (10 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, MP calls.

Final Pot: 12 BB

Results in white below:

Default Re: missed AK hand

If by standard play you mean what would most people do in the given situation, I think they would do what you did. Call 1 bet but fold the turn.

The only thing you have going for you is the inside straight unless you think one pair will be good. I see people play overcards like they actually have something but in cases like this - 2 flush cards, 2 straight cards, 2 high cards, 3 other players still in, a caller betting into 2 raisers - mucking on the flop will probably save more money long term than drawing.
