Default Heh, Partypoker made new rules for the 3 billion hand jackpot

http://www.partypoker.com/news/event...onth_hand.html

"1. The winner of the hand is determined by the best hand, regardless of sidepots or all-ins. At the showdown, the best hand shown will win 50%. In the case of tied hands, the players with the tied high hands will split the 50%, with the remaining 50% split between the other active players. If only three players were dealt into the hand, all three players will split the jackpot evenly.

2. For the royal flush jackpot a player must use at least one hole card from his hand. A royal flush on the board will not count.

3. Players playing on private tables are not eligible for this promotion. If a winning hand is dealt on a private table, no prize money will be paid."

Obviously this was in response to two of the recent hands that won, 1 of them where the best hand at the table did not win the jackpot, the other where a private table won where the two players involved were (perhaps) sitting there folding every hand to try to make it to the jackpot.

I wonder if either of the announced winners from those 2 tables actually did get his prize money.
