Default Quick odds question

If you have a 3-flush, about what are the odds of completing the flush on the turn and river?

You need one of 10 cards to fall on the turn and one of 9 cards on the river. There are 47 cards left in the deck on the turn and 46 on the river. You need both the turn and river events to occur so you need to multiply.

10/47 * 9/46 = 0.0416, or 4.16% probability. I never work in odds, but that is roughly 24-to-1.
